PROMEGA initiated the import of grape from USA in 1994, specifically from Delano, California, acquiring the product directly from its land to different companies dedicated to its production and marketing.Our grapes are harvested, packed, pre - cooled and transported by our qualified personnel, assuring an ideal quality and customer service.

HISTORY
In the year of 1796, principally Franciscan friars planted an European variety of grape known as "Uva Misión", in order to do sacramental wine; the origin of this grape is not known, but lucky this variety was brought to Mexico and was sowed by the same religious purpose. Nowadays the wines, the grape of table and raisin of California they are agricultural products that occupy a great variety of acres. Italy occupies the first place in the world production of grapes of table, the second place is the State of California and the third one occupies Chile.

MANAGING
Is recommended to support a relative humidity between 90% - 95% to preserve the clusters in good conditions and with good aspect. Supporting them to suitable temperature is the most important of the factors to assure its maximum quality and to lengthen its life of shelf, for such motive, is recommended to be kept to a temperature between 1° to 2° C, before to extract them for its sale.

EXHIBITION
The grape will have to manage with special care, especially in case of the grape without seed. The more appropriate way to extract the grapes of its boxes, is spilling its content or in its case to take the clusters initiating for a corner of the box. For major success in yours sales, exhibits all the grapes in its different varieties, since the different types and colors will attract more the consumers. You can use publicity as posters, leaflets, decoration of shelf. All this with the support and advising of our company.

The grapes is packed in boxes of poliestireno of 11.5 Kg. Approximately

GREEN GRAPE

Thompson seedless: green light Color, elongated form very sweet flavor and juicy.

Calmeria: more elongated Form, green light color, soft and sweet flavor.

RED GRAPE

Christmas Rose: red light Color, with seed, of great size and sweet and sour flavor.

Net Globe: very big Grape, of big clusters, with seed. Its consumption is very habitual in the holidays, as to decorate.

Crimson Seedless: Grape without seed, with flavor almost saucy, firm texture and smell delicious.

CROP
The grape is cultivated the whole year. The vineyards are pruned manually in the winter, to obtain the quantity of awaited fruit.

AVAILABILITY
The grape of California for the national market is of August until December.
